World Youth Conference on Kindness (Virtual)

On October 24th and 25th 2020, UNESCO MGIEP will join forces with youth-led and youth-centric organizations and individuals to organize the second World Youth Conference on Kindness centred on the theme: Kindness for Co-existence: ‘Learning to Live Together ’. The Conference will provide global youth leaders and policymakers with an innovative, and engaging platform to discover innovative pathways for achieving the SDGs, build the social and emotional capacities of youth, enhance the momentum for a UN Declaration on Kindness, and celebrate Kindness through an exciting Concert.

What to expect?

The Sustainable Development Goals adopted in 2015 are a summation of the challenges and aspirations of humankind and the planet. To achieve them and realize a peaceful and sustainable world requires an internalized mindset and spirit of ‘learning to live together’. To take action infused with the spirit of ‘co-existence’ requires kindness - it is the ultimate act of kindness. The World Youth Conference on Kindness aims to create a space for youth to experience and imbibe the foundational competencies necessary to act with everyone and everything in mind.
