This event runs from 12pm - 1pm EST
Education leaders know that social emotional skills are key competencies required for learning and well-being. We know that social emotional skills are developed at school, at home, in the community, and in the workplace. Business leaders can help us learn more about the skills required by our students to enter the workforce and be healthy, happy, productive employees.
During this one-hour webinar, senior education leaders will have the chance to hear from host Giancarlo Brotto (Executive Director, Catalyst; Karanga Steering Committee, Canada) and panelists Jeff Lowe, (Executive Vice President, SMART Technologies, Canada) and Deborah Singh, (Founder and CEO, Deetails HR Consulting, Canada). They will be sharing their thoughts on the following questions:
1. What are the skills needed in today’s workplace? Have you seen a shift with the move to more employees working from home?
2. How do employers help employees develop social emotional skills in the workplace?
3. How can senior education leaders work collaboratively with employers to help students develop the social emotional skills required to be successful throughout their careers?
